Minister of State for trade & Industry, MR s iswaran, visits ho chi minh city, viet nam, to attend the “regionalism and modernisation of viet nam” economic conference

Minister of State (MOS) for Trade & Industry, Mr S Iswaran, will be in Ho Chi Minh City from 22-23 Apr 2007 to attend the “Regionalism and Modernisation of Viet Nam” economic conference. The economic conference is organised by Viet Nam’s Ministry of Planning and Investment, Viet Nam News Agency and Asia News Network as an avenue to promote the further integration of the Vietnamese economy into ASEAN and world economies.

Viet Nam Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will deliver the inaugural speech for the conference. MOS Iswaran will deliver a keynote speech entitled “The Strategy for Regional Economic Integration and Asia’s Future” to a conference of about 500 business people, academics and policy makers from Asia and other countries.

MOS Iswaran will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
