MINISTER FOR TRADE & INDUSTRY LIM HNG KIANG VISITS BO’AO, HAINAN TO ATTEND THE 6TH BO’AO FORUM FOR ASIA ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2007

Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang will be in Bo’ao from 20 to 21 April 2007 to attend the 6th Bo’ao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2007. The BFA is a non-government, non-profit organization that is committed to promoting regional economic integration and development. This is also a premier forum for leaders in government, business and academia to share visions on global and regional issues.

The theme for this year’s BFA Annual Conference is “Asia Winning in Global Economy – Innovation and Sustainable Development”. At the Conference, Minister Lim will participate as a panelist in one of the discussions “Accelerating Asian Growth: Evolution of the Asian Economic Community”.

Minister Lim will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Trade & Industry.
