VISIT TO SINGAPORE BY THE OMAN MINISTER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY, H.E. MAQBOOL BIN ALI SULTAN, 30 AUGUST - 2 SEPTEMBER 2006
The Oman Minister of Commerce and Industry, H.E. Maqbool bin Ali Sultan will visit Singapore from 30 August to 2 September 2006 at the invitation of Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang to attend the Oman-Singapore Business Forum held on 31 August 06.
The inaugural Oman-Singapore Business Forum, co-organised by the Omani Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Singapore Business Federation, aims to raise awareness of the investment and business opportunities in Oman to Singapore investors and companies and to foster greater business collaboration between Oman and Singapore.
During his visit, H.E. Maqbool will meet Minister Lim Hng Kiang and Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo.He will also visit GIC, MUIS, IDA, STB and SPRING, as well as tour the Singapore port and some industrial parks.H.E. Maqbool is accompanied by officials from the Omani Ministry of Commerce and Industry and a business delegation.
