VISIT TO SINGAPORE BY GERMAN FEDERAL MINISTER FOR ECONOMICS AND TECHNOLOGY, H.E. MICHAEL GLOS, 23 - 24 MARCH 2006

Germany’s Federal Minister for Economics and Technology Michael Glos will visit Singapore from 23 to 24 March 2006 at the invitation of Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang.Together with Minister Lim, Minister Glos will officiate at the opening of the German Expo 2006 – organised by the Singapore-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce – on 24 March 2006.Minister Glos will be accompanied by a delegation comprising of Members of the German Bundestag, officials from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, as well as a business delegation. 

Aside from officiating at the German Expo 2006, Minister Glos will call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew and Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo.He will also attend the Opening of the Science Tunnel at the Singapore Science Centre.
