The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) today announced that Mr Ngiam Shih Chun, currently the Deputy Secretary (Industry) of MTI, will be appointed as Chief Executive (CE) of the Energy Market Authority (EMA) with effect from 1 February 2018. Current CE of EMA, Mr Ng Wai Choong, will be appointed as the Commissioner of Inland Revenue/CEO at the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) with effect from 1 February 2018.
