Singapore and Australia marked a milestone in bilateral economic relations with the ratification of the upgraded Singapore-Australia Free Trade Agreement (SAFTA) today. The upgraded SAFTA which was signed by Minister for Trade and Industry (Trade) Lim Hng Kiang and Australia’s Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment Steven Ciobo in October 2016, will also enter into force today.
