1. The Department of Statistics (DOS) conducts regular reviews of the data series that it publishes, and may decide to stop the publication of those which are assessed to have low demand. 

2. In the case of the indigenous GDP and GNI series, DOS decided to stop publishing them with effect from the 2013 Yearbook of Statistics Singapore as there was a lack of public interest in the two series. In particular, there were no online downloads of the series nor specific queries on the series from the public in the years leading up to the decision to stop the publication of the series. 

3. Nonetheless, DOS has continued to compile the two series internally and will provide them to users on request.
