Singapore and the US have announced the conclusion of a bilateral Digital Economic Cooperation Roadmap. It identifies shared principles for the digital economy, and priority areas of mutual interest for cooperation. The Roadmap is a foundation for further collaboration on the digital economy to jointly deliver tangible benefits for our businesses, workers, and societies.
The Roadmap was announced after the second US-Singapore Critical and Emerging Technology (CET) Dialogue, held in Singapore on 31 July. The Dialogue was chaired by Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan and Minister for Digital Development and Information Josephine Teo, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
