Singapore And Andhra Pradesh Announce Master Planners For New Capital City And Surrounding Region
Singapore consortium has been appointed master planners for the new Andhra Pradesh capital city and surrounding region, including an 8km2 seed development area. This is the first phase of the capital city development project, which is a partnership between Singapore and Andhra Pradesh1.
Mr S Iswaran, Minister, Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Home Affairs and Trade & Industry and Mr Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh jointly announced Surbana International Consultants and Jurong International as master planners for this project at a media conference in Hyderabad today.
