SINGAPORE TO EXPAND ECONOMIC COOPERATION WITH RUSSIA
1. Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry and National Development Lee Yi Shyan led a delegation of officials and business representatives to Russia from 16 to 20 June. The trip helped to foster greater economic partnership, facilitate networking and explore potential areas of collaboration.
2. During the visit, Mr Lee met with the Governor of St Petersburg, Georgy Poltavchenko and signed a protocol agreement to continue expanding cooperation between Singapore and St Petersburg in sectors such as transport, science parks, urban planning, e-government and training programmes.
