Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang Meets United States Trade Representative Ambassador Ron Kirk
Singapore’s Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang met with United States Trade Representative Ambassador Ron Kirk and senior US trade officials on 25 April 2012. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance the excellent Singapore-US bilateral economic relations as well as how both countries could better cooperate in international fora like the World Trade Organization (WTO), Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and the ongoing Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) negotiations. Minister Lim and Ambassador Kirk also discussed trade and economic developments in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Asia Pacific regions.
