SENIOR MINISTER OF STATE FOR TRADE & INDUSTRY AND EDUCATION MR S ISWARAN VISITS NEW DELHI IN INDIA 2-4 AUGUST 2009

Mr Iswaran will be signing an Agreement for Science & Technology Cooperation between India and Singapore, which will formalise collaboration between Singapore and India in areas of common interest, such as biotechnology and renewable energy. Mr Iswaran will also witness the signing of the Singapore India Tourism Joint Action Plan between the Singapore Tourism Board and the Ministry of Tourism, India. The plan aims to promote cooperation between both countries particularly in tourism promotion and human resource development in tourism and travel related industries.
