Conclusion of the Seventh Round of the Canada-Singapore Free Trade Agreement
Singapore and Canada have concluded their seventh round of negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement that will strengthen the trade and investment relations between the two countries. The talks were held in Singapore from 26 February to 2 March 2007.
Good progress was made in the trade in goods, trade in services, investment, institutional provisions and dispute settlement chapters.
Singapore and Canada will continue to work on making further progress on the remaining outstanding issues.
